Shabby Blue Shelf

 This little shelf was so cute. 

Great curves on the bottom and a really cute heart cut out. 

The stain finish was nice but it was time for a little change. 

I really wanted to break out of the "antique white" or "powder blue" look for this piece. Something with a little pop in color. 

In steps the deep blue. 

Here she is after one coat. 

And here she is after her two new coats of paint, distressed to a shabby chippy look and waxed! 

Ahhh there much prettier!
